Before you ask: Yes, THAT Groove Tubes, the same company that makes new replacement vacuum tubes for guitar amps.

The GT66 is a fixed-pattern (cardioid) tube microphone made in the early 2000s, alongside the multi-pattern GT67, and later produced by Sterling Audio after Groove Tubes left the microphone market. sound character is bright, modern, and richly detailed: a model modern vacuum tube mic. The GT66 pictured is our original "A" mic, but we have also picked up a mysterious "B" GT66 with gold grille and trim.
